How to Convert PDF to Word
Convert PDF to DOCX
- 1Open PDF to Word and choose your PDF files.
- 2Edit each output basename while the .docx extension remains locked.
- 3Convert each file, then use View for file information, Share/Send or Download.
Formatting and editable content
Most text, headings, images, logos, ordinary hyperlinks and common formatting may be retained. Tables, columns, page breaks, completed form values, signature images and unusual fonts can shift.
The result is intended to be editable, not a pixel-perfect page image. Review Word formatting before relying on it.
Scans, passwords and failures
Scanned or image-only PDFs are not supported because OCR is not included. Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are rejected without asking for a password.
A failed file creates no DOCX and does not consume conversion allowance. Other valid files in the batch continue independently.
Signed PDFs, privacy and retention
A DOCX is an editable copy and does not alter the original PDF. Digital-signature validity, certificates, timestamps and audit evidence are not transferred; keep the original signed PDF as the authoritative record.
Files use Convert It's private temporary processing, existing retention rules, owner/public-share authorization and customer quotas.
