How to Combine Multiple PDF Files Into One

Upload between 2 and 25 supported PDFs, drag them into the order you want, choose the output base name, and combine them. Convert It preserves the submitted document order and produces one validated PDF.
Combine PDF Files

Combine PDFs in order

  1. 1Open Combine PDF Files and add at least two PDFs.
  2. 2Use each row’s drag handle to arrange the documents from first to last. Keyboard users can use the labeled reorder controls.
  3. 3Remove any unwanted file and check the locked .pdf output name.
  4. 4Start the binder job. Conversion begins only after every authorized source upload is confirmed.
  5. 5View, download, or share the validated combined PDF.

What combining preserves

The binder merges existing PDF pages rather than rendering every page as an image. Mixed portrait and landscape pages and different page dimensions can remain in the result. The source documents are appended in the exact authoritative order submitted by the interface.

Combining does not automatically unify margins, page numbering, fonts, bookmarks, or visual design. It also does not edit the content inside a source PDF.

Files that may be rejected

Encrypted, password-protected, malformed, or active-content PDFs may be rejected by native validation. A filename ending in .pdf is not enough: the file signature and structure must match the declared type. Every authorized source must finish uploading; a partial binder cannot complete or consume a reduced quota charge.

Plan the order before sharing

  • Put title pages and introductions first.
  • Check for duplicate or missing documents after reordering.
  • Open the final file and inspect transition points between sources.
  • Use Reorder PDF Pages afterward if individual pages—not whole source files—need rearranging.
