Video Conversion Beta Limits and Formats

Each source is limited to 250 MB on Plus or 500 MB on Pro, and 15 minutes. Output fits within 1920×1080 without upscaling. Only successful work consumes allowance, using authoritative ffprobe duration.

Choose a video and select Convert video once. Keep the page open while it uploads; after upload, checking and conversion continue automatically even if you leave or refresh. Find active, completed and recent failed jobs in Your Files.

MP4-to-WebM uses VP9 and can take longer than the video itself. Progress comes from processing the video, and a bounded deadline prevents an attempt from running indefinitely. If an attempt fails, select Retry with original file; failed work does not use your allowance.

Opening a retry does not start or charge a conversion. If the original is still available, choose Retry saved video. Otherwise, choose Select original video and select the original file. Your previous operation and settings are preserved.

Private video files and links expire after 24 hours on Plus or 48 hours on Pro. Existing file expiration never changes when plans change. Download anything you need before the localized expiration time shown with the result.

View opens a Convert It video page in a new tab. Shared links play inline without leaving Convert It. Download saves the file separately; Copy Link and Send share the Convert It page. If temporary playback access expires or your browser cannot play the codec, refresh the preview or download the file for a compatible player.

Completed results show the source-video time charged to that conversion and the current remaining monthly allowance, displayed in minutes and seconds. Only successful conversions use allowance.

Smaller File, Balanced and Higher Quality use different measured H.264 quality and speed settings. Compression is lossy and the selected setting does not promise a particular reduction.
